Is it just me, or are Narcissus the only flowers the deer actually leave alone?

The life around the woods is a challenge since the deer consume all my planting. Someone in a local group mentioned that Narcissus are toxic to them so they stay away. To test the theory, I simply picked some of the varieties at abodelook. And is this what you call the holy grail flower, in those places of high deer, or shall I go on night after night spraying?
