Any designer would say that he has his own resource and trust it fully. I personally take all template for any website like these website templates monsterone.com/html-templates/website-templates/ only from Monsterone and then customize the theme according to the needs I have. I think it is a really great way to build websites these days. Simply give it a try

Themeforest is the king of all when it comes to templates. You can also check out templatemonster for inspirations. Template monster mostly has flash based templates but you can always get inspirations from there and may be create your own template. Please note that both these websites offer paid templates if you want to use the same.
